Nashville Trip, October 25 - 28, 2012

Late in October, we had a wonderful four days in Nashville.  I had a statewide Imagination Library/Governor's Books from Birth Conference on the grounds of the governor's mansion for two days.  We got to tour the governor's mansion, which was fun.  I was on a panel discussing fundraising methods, particularly writing grants and newsletters.

At the same time, the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry had its international conference at the Music City Sheraton for four days. Alan reads many of their publications, which cover a wide range of topics. Alan enjoyed all four days, I the last two days after my IL conference was over.  It was a fascinating four days with fun and intellectually stimulating presentations by scholars.

We were able to see and spend time with nephew Lee and enjoy an evening in downtown Nashville with him.  He is a great host, squiring us around to some fun places.
