Because we bought a camper trailer (See last post for details.), we had to get a more powerful truck to tow it. We were able to find a great 2007 Tundra V-8 with a tow package for a decent price at a local dealer. Since our dear six-cylinder 2003 Tacoma (Tillie) is now not needed, it is for sale at its NADA value of $13,500. If any of you local people are interested and/or know someone who is, there is a picture below. It has a little over 75,000 miles on it, and is in fantastic condition. We have all the maintenance records.

We took the new Tundra (Tillie II) and the camper on a shakedown trip this week, just going to a local state park. We wanted to check out the trailer to see if there was anything that needed fixing, since we bought it used "as is." We did find a few things, but basically they were what we expected--new battery, etc. We took it to a local RV dealer to check out things we couldn't see, like brakes and holding tanks. Harry, we had them repack the bearings, as you suggested.
So now, we are ready for the open road, once we get back from the month-long vacation that we had already made arrangements for before we found the camper in the want ads. We leave on Sunday for Edisto Island, S.C. for a week at a condo with Alan's sister Susie and her husband, Ed., then after a short break back here in Kingsport, on to the Poconos in PA for a week at a condo with my sister Rosemary and husband, Ralph. From the Poconos, we will spend several days in Philadelphia seeing historic sights/sites, and finally to DC, where we will stay with nephew Paul Bliese and his family, but see other folks, also.
We are really happy with how things have turned out. We will have a lot of fun in September, and we will have fun for years to come with the new truck and camper.
