Family Reunion

We had a great time in Kansas at the Bliese/Grauerholz reunion. My brother Art and his wife Dolores put together a wonderful day for over 25 relatives at their parsonage in Courtland, Kansas. My mother was raised near there in Athol, Kansas, and we have many cousins in the area, as well as two elderly aunts. It was a fantastic day of visiting, looking at pictures, and getting caught up on people I hadn't seen in over 10 years. My brother Loren, wife Edith, daughter Laurie and her family came from Oregon. My sister Rosemary and husband Ralph came from Pittsburgh. We were able to spend four days together, which was wonderful.

We were able to experience spectacular things on the wide open plains: the Milky Way on a clear, moonless night, a raging thunderstorm with incredible lightning, followed by a double rainbow over the church.
