Paint Creek and Max Patch: July 2012

In July, we went camping/hiking in a wonderful area on the Tennessee/North Carolina border not too far from here. It was the Paint Creek Campground, in the Pisgah National Forest.  We got to try out the new extended "foyer" on our tent, which worked out great. There was a very hard rain one night, and we stayed dry.  We saw an otter in the creek one morning.

This is the first time I have seen these pictures and this posting. I don't know how I missed it. This looks like a very pleasant trip. I'm glad you kept dry in the rain. It looks like a nice place to go camping.
