Surprise Honor

The Literacy Council lured Alan and me to their volunteer appreciation dinner last month, in order to surprise me with an award:  I received the Shirley Jackson Silent Service Award for developing the DVD of 10 self-paced training lessons for new tutors.  I was delighted and honored to receive the award. I told about doing the lessons in an earlier blog.
