We don't send holiday cards to the people who get this blog, so this is our wish for you to have a wonderful Christmas and a most happy new year. We will be here in Kingsport again, with Bill and Anna, Alan's sisters, and as many of the extended family who will be able to join us.
The star attendee will certainly be grand-nephew Logan Spear, who just turned one. He is at that adorable age when he is just learning to walk. We had lots of fun with him and the rest of the Gamble/Spear family in Huntsville, where we went to do the annual cookie baking recently.

The other new addition to our family is Shelby, the calico cat that adopted us. She is now a permanent and much loved resident at 2333 Woodridge.
She wants to be near us, no matter what we are doing:
