Kitchen Reno Update

People have been asking about where we are on renovations, so I thought I'd put in a brief update: 

We were able to move back into the kitchen and start using it again a couple of days ago!  Things are far from finished, but at least we (I) can cook normally again.  

This is kitchen status now:  Cabinet molding added; exteriors of cabinets painted. Cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and island being built at contractor's shop, then will be painted in paint booth at Cabinet Doctors' shop.  Alan found the exact tile for the backsplash in a remnant bin at Home Depot, so contractor will be able to bring tile down to where it should be. After much searching, found a granite piece for the top of the island that we liked, only to have it be sold to someone else while we were "shopping" elsewhere. Another is being ordered.  Expect that most will be finished on kitchen in a couple of weeks.
