Alan and I hope that you have a most wonderful Christmas! As usual, I will not send cards to those who get this blog. We will be in Huntsville with Alan's family for the annual cookie baking and holiday celebration. This year, we are taking the trailer and staying for a week at Monte Sano State Park, which is in Huntsville. Shelby will be going with us.

| The Imagination Library board gave me this great coat of many colors ornament as a farewell gift. After 10 years, I am going off the board at the end of this year. The bird ornament is one that Alan's parents had on one of their first trees. |

| We have a gas fireplace now, but the stockings were hung with care. |

| Shelby loves the fireplace. It is a two-sided fireplace, with the other side in the sun room, so we can enjoy it in the winter, too. |
