First Deer Sighting

We were having our Memorial Day cookout today, eating on the deck at dusk. Alan looked up and saw a young doe on the path in the woods. This is the first time we have seen one on our property. I know that isn't news for the Ridgefields or country folks, but it is a first for us. We shall see if my plants get munched. That won't make me happy.
