One day we went sightseeing at two places off the Blue Ridge Highway: Mount Mitchell State Park and the Craggy Gardens area. Lovely views and fun company.

One day we went exploring in the town of Asheville, which is a lively, fun place. There were many street musicians, some of which were excellent, as well as great shops to prowl around in--also, a fantastic chocolate place that Marta recommended.
My next trip will be to Tygert Lake State Park in Grafton, West Virginia, where I will meet my sister Rosemary for a few days: September 18 - 21. I am really looking forward to seeing her, and spending some "sister time" with her.

I think about you so often & often wonder just how you are doing?
I always loved your old shows & watched them all the time.
I am 76 years old too & time somehow flies by us doesn't it? I live alone in an apartment. Just me & my dog, (Maddie).
I am glad you got away over the 9th & I pray you will
have many more happy times away with your family.
